Trunojoyo University Madura is a continuation of or changes to the University of Bangkalan Madura (UNIBANG) status of Private Higher Education (PTS) established by the Education Foundation Kyai Weak Dhuwur MKGR Bangkalan in 1981, UNIBANG has three faculties are: Faculty of Law with the Department Legal Studies, Faculty of Economics and Management Department, Faculty of Engineering with the Department of Cultivation Techniques. Efforts to establish Unibang time to improve and accommodate based Human Resources (HR) specifically in Madura are relatively low and when the college went out of Madura always. Therefore, efforts towards the improvement of both soft ware and hard ware continues to be done. The climax occurs at the time of enactment penegrian the changing status of the PTS (Unibang) into UTM (PTN).
